Sunday Smoothies: Meal Prep Your Week Of Body-Healing + Brain-Boosting Smoothies

Smoothies are a year-round staple in our household. They’re the perfect breakfast or snack for those crazy busy days during the week. Over the years, I’ve gotten my smoothie-making skills down to a science, and a lot of that includes prepping them on Sunday for the week ahead. It’s seriously the easiest way to start your day! Just add your favorite smoothie base and go! In our house, we love to make our smoothies with a variety of plant-based milks by Mooala, a company that offers organic plant-based milks that are available to purchase on Amazon. They’re made with real ingredients like organic almonds, organic bananas and gluten-free oats, plus they are packed with great nutrients like calcium, potassium and vitamin E. And you, my sugar-avoiding friends, can rejoice – Mooala’s plant-based milks don’t contain any added sugar! Mooala is a fabulous option for busy ladies because you can have the beverages delivered directly to your door, and you don’t have to worry about them expiring quickly since they’re shelf-stable. We love to stock up on our favorite varieties of Almondmilk, Oatmilk and my personal favorite, Bananamilk! (Psst…we have a special 10% off code for Glitter Guide readers at the bottom!)

Sundays are my meal prep days, which also includes prepping my different smoothies for the week. After a trip to the farmers’ market for local produce, I start assembling my “smoothie packs.” It makes it so easy to have them ready to grab in the morning. Just add your favorite Mooala plant-based milk and blend!

With so many different varieties of plant-based milks, I love making an intentional smoothie recipe for each day of the week that helps provide a range of nutritional benefits. I’ll share with you a typical week of delicious, easy-to-make smoothies that beautify and nourish from the inside out.
