I love playing “keep or toss” and figuring out new ways to organize things. I’m a bit of an organization freak, there’s just something so satisfying about it. But organizing your entire life at once can be overwhelming, especially when it takes a bit of time. These projects are quick, satisfying, and can easily be done in a weekend. It’s all about baby steps, you know? Read on for some of my favorite things you can organize that will bring you joy.
Spices
How satisfying is this spice display? All you need to create your own is a some labels, matching jars and a few shelves to display your handiwork.

Nail Polish
There are so many different ways to organize your nail polish collection, it just depends on how big your stash is. Use dividers in a drawer like Kate La Vie did here, or opt for a wall-mounted spice rack for a fun display. If you have a vanity, you can even use a lazy susan or cake stand to organize and display smaller collections.

Cleaning Tools
You don’t need much to create this aesthetically pleasing display. Keep your cleaning supplies organized and easily accessible with a simple grid panel and hooks.

Books
There are tons of different ways to organize your book collection, but I’m a fan of color-coordination. But you can alphabetize, organize by genre, by size, even flip them around for a “neutral” vibe. All you need to do is figure out which style will bring you the most joy to look at every day.
Cords
Do you have a rogue drawer full of tangled cords that just keeps growing? Join the club. But imagine how calming it would feel to open this drawer instead? All you need are a few clips and clear bins. Brownie points if you have a label maker!
