6 Fall Beauty Looks We’re Trying (Even Though We Have Nowhere To Go)

We haven’t had too many excuses to put on makeup these days, but that hasn’t stopped us from experimenting with some new and fun beauty looks. We’ve been trying out the latest hair trends, nail art and makeup looks, all from the comfort of our couch. Hey, at least when we finally do leave the house again we will have a whole arsenal of new looks to show off!

@jillianwheeler

Taylor sent me this look the other day after she was influenced to buy the same chartreuse eyeshadow. I was skeptical at first, but when she sent me this as her inspiration, I was fully onboard.

@rodarte

Rodarte can do no wrong, and their latest SS21 look book is proof that they are magical. We’re loving this soft and effortless-looking hairstyle. To create this look, blow dry into a center part with the ceramic vented radial brush to create a “heart” shape around the face.  After hair is completely dry, use the narrow dressing brush to tease lightly in small sections to create volume around the crown and press the flat iron through each section so the hair remains smooth throughout. For the front, use the hot brush to curl sections around the face into same heart shapes. To finish, brush out the hair and spray with a dry texturizing spray. For the finishing touch, detail with florals around the face.

I’m very into these crystal detail makeup looks that are popping up all over the Internet. They remind me of the crystal butterfly “tattoos” we used to cover our bodies with in the early 2000s and I’m very here for it.

Tortoiseshell nails are one of my favorite fall beauty trends. Since I’m been spending so much time on our own at-home manis, this is definitely the style I’m most excited to try next.

Floating eyeliner isn’t an easy look to master, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going away anytime soon, so we’ll keep practicing. White eyeliner over some fun, neon eyeshadow is super modern take on classic fall beauty. Can’t forget those cute freckles, either!

Silver glitter is having a major moment right now, and there are a ton of fun ways to incorporate it into your daily beauty routine.
