Saying Goodbye to Glitter Guide

Even now, as I write these words, I have no clue what I want to say. But I do know what I have to say, and that’s goodbye to Glitter Guide.

From the very start, Glitter Guide was possible because of the support of our readers. I’ll never forget our launch day. I was a complete mess, a ball of nerves and excitement, but it was thrilling. That mixture of fear, passion, and creative energy propelled me for the past ten years, and even though it’s coming to an end, I will cherish everything I learned.

There are so many things I’m going to miss about working on GG, but the thing I will miss the most is making connections with you, the readers. Those memories will help carry me through my next chapter. What that chapter is, I have no idea. I’m undergoing a huge life change, and I’m not going to lie: I’m terrified! But somewhere inside that fear is hope. The door is open, and now I just have to walk through it — where I will end up is still to be determined, but I know the experiences and connections that Glitter Guide has brought me will help guide the way.

Thank you to everyone who’s contributed to Glitter Guide and our fantastic team. It’s been an incredible ten years!

I will keep Glitter Guide’s archives up for as long as it’s sustainable. Please enjoy perusing our old articles.

You can keep up with me on my website and Instagram.
