What Taylor Sterling Is Loving This Month

November has been an interesting month for me. Despite it being such a huge month for shopping, I’ve been shopping quite a bit less. I’ve been on a massive decluttering spree and have become very conscious of what we bring back into our home. It’s super refreshing. This month, my favorites include a lot of non-material things and also things I’ve owned for a while. I hope to keep this up in 2019!

  1. Pehr Bedding + Shell Pillow
I really love making changes to the kids’ room and I recently gave their beds a little refresh. I love the combination of these two.
  2. My Dining Room
I recently made over my dining room and I’ve been working out of it all month. My office is in our landing space and it doesn’t have heat. Now that it’s getting chillier, I’ve been enjoying sitting at my dining room table and working in the sunlight.
  3. Heartland Perfume by Midland
My friends Kelly and Paige of Midland are always creating beauty and magic. They are the owners of Midland, and they’ve added perfumes to the shop. I am obsessed with Heartland. It’s smoky at first, but then dries warm and floral.
  4. The Joy of Less
November has been a month of decluttering for me. I want to start off 2019 feeling lighter and more centered. For me, that means decluttering all areas of my life. I’ve been reading this book for motivation.
  5. November Playlist
I can’t stop listening to my November playlist.
  6. I put this up in our dining room and my whole family loves it. It’s great for quotes, lists, and drawings by my kids!
  7. This Quote
I’m embracing this more and more. I’ve really noticed that as I get older, I’ve become better at setting boundaries and doing my own thing. I don’t need to be the best, most popular, etc. I’m embracing my weird. I’ve saved this and it’s on my desk this month.
  8. Sweet Dreams Tea
This time of year, I find that I really crave an evening tea. Usually, I am a coffee drinker, but I love a cozy night with a movie and tea. This is my favorite one for before bed. I got it at Homestead Apothecary in Temescal Alley in Oakland.
