How Our Business Manager Is Revamping Her Workspace For The New Year

I’ll never forget the look on Taylor’s face when I asked her to bring a Post-it® Wall Pad to my hotel room in San Francisco for our very first in-person meeting. Yes, I made her carry a 20×23-inch Post-it® Wall Pad though downtown SF, and I know she thought I was nuts. But you see, I’m a visual planner, always have been. Even when I was working on my MBA in my shoebox-sized apartment at Harvard, my walls were covered in a rainbow of Post-it® Notes. So it’s no surprise that I’ve always used Post-it® products to map out our big dreams and ideas for Glitter Guide, and 2021 is going to be no different.

Our tiny team is a remote one, and I’ve always thrived on working at home. When you have a team that’s as small as ours, you have to wear a lot of hats. In my role as business manager, I handle everything from finance and human resources to planning out our monthly editorial calendar. Basically, I’m a data nerd. I love looking at a problem, analyzing the data and figuring out a creative solution.

But wearing all these hats and solving all these problems requires a lot of organization on my end. This is why I was so excited to discover Noted by Post-it®, a full collection of delightfully designed tools to keep all of your noteworthy moments beautifully captured. This brand-new line brings the unmatched technology of Post-it® products you know and trust together with fresh, simple, colorful proclamations — which made it a no-brainer for me!

My daily work routine includes a lot of bouncing around and switching from one hat to another, so planning and organization is key for keeping me on track. With these new beautiful products from Noted by Post-it®, I can plan my day with intent and use the Noted by Post-it® Habit Tracker to reinforce my goals in a colorful way.

Is there anything more satisfying than crossing off items on your to-do list? I adore a good to-do list. The first thing I do in the morning is take out my Noted by Post-it® Notebook and list out every single thing I need to accomplish for the day. Next, I grab my Top 3 Square Notes and prioritize the three most important things I absolutely have to finish for the day. From there, I move on to my Daily Planner Pad where I map out my schedule for the day. This system keeps me on track and ensures that the most important things on my to-do list are finished and the rest of the day is streamlined.

Noted by Post-it® is curated for any workspace, whether remote or in-person, and includes products like notepads, planners, pens, tabs and desk-friendly acrylic trays all with charming and colorful personalities to suit anyone’s taste and style. One of my favorite things about the Noted by Post-it® collection is the beautiful variety of functional products and delightful colors.

You can mix and match all the different products for a curated workspace that is uniquely yours. I personally like to color code based on my different “departments,” such as lavender for finance, yellow for editorial and so on. It helps me keep everything easily accessible and categorized.

Kick off 2021 on an organized note! If you love the new Noted by Post-it® collection, you can enter to win one of your very own. Noted by Post-it® will send one lucky winner a complete set, just enter your email below for a chance to win.
