Samantha’s Favorite Vintage Treasure Finds

This past year has brought a lot of time spent at home, which has made it really easy to become sick of your surroundings. I’ve been working on little projects here and there to spruce things up, which means I’ve been spending a lot of time down the rabbit hole of vintage online shopping. I’ve been on the hunt for my perfect plug-in light fixture and small-space vanity, and this past month, I’ve found both.

I found this vanity for $60 on OfferUp! I had a search saved for vintage vanity and as soon as I got the alert, I snagged it.

I still haven’t “properly” hung this light fixture up, but after finding this gem on Facebook Marketplace I was too excited to care. I’ll get around to hanging it correctly soon, but isn’t it rad?!

Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp are two of my favorite underutilized gems. I’ve never been good at thrifting or vintage hunting because I just don’t have the patience to go into a store and sift through everything. I’m much better at plugging in my search terms and letting the internet do the work for me. You can still find some amazing vintage scores without stepping foot into a thrift store. We always try to buy vintage before buying new, not only because it’s better for the planet, but things are usually higher quality and far more unique than what you’d find at a big-box store.

So I thought I’d do a roundup of all my favorite recent vintage finds. Who knows, maybe I’ll make it a monthly thing? Someone should benefit from the hours I spend scrolling 😂.

Hollywood Regency Art Deco Pink Glass Flower Lamp

My dream lamp. I’m holding out to find one for local pickup, but this one is available on Etsy for shipping!

I have an alert set for “vintage violets” and this sweet little trinket box caught my eye.

This set of glasses from the 1970s is in perfect condition.

Ever since Gray Benko’s home tour, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of collecting vintage portraits.

Another incredible Facebook Marketplace find. I wish I had space for it!

Vintage Swedish Kilim Rug

A unicorn find! It’s from the 1960s and in perfect condition. Love the colors!

Pink Ginger Jar

This pretty floral vessel from the 1980s would make a cute stash jar.

1974 LeeWards Illustrated Library of Arts and Crafts

The colors of this cover would make such a fun coffee table book.

Woven Stash Box + Butterfly Coasters

These butterfly coasters from the 1970s are pretty easy to find, but I love this set that comes with a lidded stash box.

Antique Patio Set

If you’re in or around San Diego and looking for the coolest 1930s patio set, Facebook Marketplace has you covered.

Vintage Porcelain Table Lighter

For lighting candles or, you know, whatever.

I really love the unique color palette on this 1950’s set.

This pair of lamps is SO cool!

Vintage Blushing Rose Fritz and Floyd Butter Dish Set

I’m such a sucker for vintage ceramic rose trinkets, I might buy this before I finish writing this post.

This would be really darling in a nursery.

Vintage Enamelware Baking Mold

In the mood for Jello? If you’d rather display it on your wall, that’s cool, too.
