Meg Ryan has starred in some of the most undoubtedly classic romantic comedies. But while I love a cheesy love story, what really draws me in is her style. Maybe it’s because of her quirky, adorable personality, but she just looks so damn cool in all of her movies. So I racked my brain (and my movie catalogue) and found the seven best outfits I totally plan on copying from Megan Ryan characters this fall.
“When Harry Met Sally” (1989)
I’ve actually done an entire post on how much I love the fashion in this movie, so it’s going to make an appearance several times. The glasses, the turtleneck, the blazer…it’s all so good.

“Sleepless in Seattle” (1993)
I love Meg Ryan with long hair, but I also love her layered style in “Sleepless in Seattle.” This oversized coat with a floral scarf is perfect for cold weather nights.

“French Kiss” (1995)
I personally think this movie is vastly underrated, not only for the story and gorgeous scenery, but for all of Meg Ryan’s amazing menswear-inspired outfits.

“You’ve Got Mail” (1998)
One of my all-time favorite movies. I know the storyline is problematic, but I still adore Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks together. Also, I just want to own a tiny bookshop and wear turtlenecks and tights every day.

“When Harry Met Sally” (again)
You can’t talk about Meg Ryan’s movie style without paying tribute to this outfit. It’s iconic, classic and will forever be the perfect inspiration for your fall wardrobe.
