Foam Furniture Is The Home Trend We All Need This Fall

Have you noticed anything extra fluffy and offbeat when scrolling Pinterest, lately? Spray foam furniture and décor is the quirky décor trend all your favorite cool girls are currently obsessed with. If you’re interested in this fun trend, you’re in luck. It’s one of the easiest and most affordable DIY décor hacks around right now.

Foam mirrors kicked off the trend before moving on to small décor pieces like stools, benches and tables. If you want to try your hand at making your own foam mirror, one of my favorite IG accounts @flex.mami shares a super simple tutorial.

Foam furniture isn’t just trendy, but it’s also fairly polarizing. People either love it, or they hate it. Either way, foam furniture is definitely a conversation starter.

If you want to try your own hand at creating foam furniture and décor, give it a test run on free or secondhand furniture. You’re just going to cover it up, so no need to go out and purchase anything expensive! Besides, it’s always better for the environment to buy secondhand, and there are a ton of mirrors and small décor pieces floating around looking for a home.

Here are a few ideas for some pieces you can use spray form to transform:

  • Mirrors
  • End tables
  • Coffee tables
  • Benches
  • Vanity trays
  • Vases

We’re big fans of this quirky décor trend and look forward to experimenting with our own spray foam furniture this fall!
