The #1 Holiday Gift On My List This Year

If you’ve been following Glitter Guide for a while now, you know how much Taylor and I love our dogs. I mean, I have two different tattoos of my dogs on my body. It’s pure love. My husband still makes fun of me for the time we were leaving to go to the hospital to give birth to my son and I had to stop and have a pep talk with my Australian Cattle Dog, Pea Eye, and promise him I still loved him just as much even though there was a baby coming. I know, it sounds silly, but if you have a fur baby, you get it.

I’ve been known to FaceTime my dogs while on vacation, take my dogs on sleepovers to dog-friendly hotels for some bonding time, etc. Suffice to say, there’s no love like the love of a furry best friend. When I discovered the Furbo Dog Camera, needless to say, I was hooked. This isn’t your typical “nanny cam.” Furbo is the only pet camera with a treat dispenser designed just for dogs!

Yes, you read that right. Furbo has the ability to give your sweet pup treats at the tap of a button. If anyone loves Furbo more than I do, it’s Pea Eye and Lucy. Several days a week, I’m away from home for long stretches of time, so having my Furbo there to keep an eye on the dogs is a life-saver. Furbo keeps dogs safe – it will send you notifications of any important events happening at home, so you can be alerted of any emergencies in real time. My dogs don’t tend to bark when they’re indoors unless something is happening or someone is at the door, so I love that it can alert me through the app and I can check it out ASAP.

Pea Eye is currently wearing a cheeky collar that says “Emotional Support Animal 2020,” but it goes both ways 😂. If you have a dog with separation anxiety like I do, Furbo is a great option. The two-way audio allows you to interact with your pup and it even works with Alexa. Lucy has a habit of trying to eat things out of the bathroom trash, so I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used the two-way audio to tell her to knock it off. She knows she won’t get any more treats tossed her way via the Furbo unless she obeys!

If you’ve ever wondered if your dog just sleeps all day or secretly has puppy parties while you’re gone, the Doggie Diary feature captures adorable moments of your dog’s day and creates a highlight video. My 4-year-old loves watching the reel at the end of the day to check-in on our dogs’ shenanigans. Last year, I also gifted my parents a Furbo Dog Camera so they could keep an eye on their three fur babies while at work all day. My dad (you know, the guy who never wanted dogs in the first place?) keeps the app open basically all day on his desk so he can keep tabs on his fur children.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “OK, Sam, sign me up, I too am obsessed with my dog!” you’re in luck because Furbo is having its biggest Black Friday sale ever! This year, they are offering 46% off a Furbo Dog Camera, just in time for holiday gifting! But you only have 24 hours to save for Furbo’s Big Black Friday Sale! It’s the perfect gift for anyone on your list who adores their dog, even if that person is you 😉.
