If you are a fan of aesthetically pleasing neutrals, minimalism and delicious food, Linda is the gal for you. So let’s get to it!
Tell us a bit about yourself!
Hi! My name is Linda and I work as a producer for E! Entertainment in LA. I’ve been working in entertainment news for more than 10 years covering music, award shows and events. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to the beach and having picnics, and spending time with my friends. Since we have been staying home now, I have been cooking a lot more and trying out new recipes.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
My day consists of a lot of emails. I am constantly emailing with my colleagues and publicists trying to confirm and break news stories. I also pitch ideas and book interviews with celebrities.
How would you describe your personal style?
I am all about comfort and neutrals—my usual outfit is a blazer or jacket, boyfriend jeans and sneakers, but these days, I’m pretty much in a T-shirt and sweatpants every day.
Do you have any creative hobbies?
I love photography and reading. I’ve been inspired to start writing after reading a few poetry books. I used to draw a lot when I was younger, so recently, I found my old sketchbook and started sketching again. It’s also my goal to start learning how to play guitar and start painting, so hopefully soon!
OK, let’s talk food. What’s always in your fridge?
I always have butter, eggs and some type of cheese.
Top 3 favorite LA eateries?
I have so many favorites, but I’d have to say Jon & Vinny’s, Sqirl and Pine & Crane.
What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten?
Oh, this is too hard to answer! I have been lucky to eat so many delicious meals, but I think I have to say nothing beats my mom’s home cooking. Her kimchi stew will always be one of my favorite dishes ever.
Do you have a go-to recipe you love to cook?
Ina Garten’s Linguine with Shrimp Scampi or Gwyneth Paltrow’s Eggplant Parmesan—can never go wrong with these dishes. Also, my avocado toasts are always a hit—the key is to add lemon and top with Everything But the Bagel Seasoning.
Where are some of your favorite spots to go for inspiration?
I love going to museums and the beach—I always leave feeling inspired, appreciative and refreshed after seeing art and nature.
What are your all-time favorite, must-read books?
The Great Gatsby, Eat, Pray, Love, The Joy Luck Club. Recently, I have been loving poetry books like Flux and Milk and Honey. I also just started Little Fires Everywhere, which I recommend.

How has your routine changed since COVID-19?
I have been trying to add more exercise to my routine. I don’t have any excuses right now to not work out. I also have started eating meals earlier and going to sleep earlier. I’m usually a night owl and don’t get too much sleep, so it has been nice to wake up feeling a bit more rested.
You recently moved into a new place. Where are your fav places to shop for home décor?
I recently bought some items at Urban Outfitters Home, West Elm and CB2. I also love looking at vintage shops.
What is your “treat yo self” guilty pleasure?
When I want to treat myself, I get a massage or manicure/pedicure. It’s nice to zone out for a bit and get a little pampered sometimes. And also, cake. Sometimes you just need to have a slice of cake.
What does your perfect Sunday look like?
Going to church, getting brunch and lounging around.
Favorite quote?
A recent favorite is one from Rupi Kaur’s book of poetry: “Fall in love with your solitude.” As an extrovert, it has been difficult to be home alone, but I have been using this time for self-care and to reflect on myself and what I can do to be a better person.
