September Theme: Let’s Get Organized

Fall officially starts this month! As we wrap up the end of summer and transition into a new season, it’s a good opportunity to get organized. I think of September as a time to reset, a fresh start. Even though I don’t have summers off from work, I still have a summer mindset. The start of fall is a good time to reevaluate where I am with work, my to-dos and my goals. I’m not a naturally organized person, and after months of this pandemic, my routines and systems have been flipped upside down. I’m massively in need of structure. Before kids, I used to get by without systems for work, but now, if I don’t follow specific rules and routines, my work will never get done.

I also struggle to think creatively when I’m overwhelmed. I need a lot of mental space in order to generate new ideas. The more organized I am, the more my creativity can flourish.

That’s what we hope we can help you with this month: ways for you to get your shit together and therefore free up time for your creative passions.
