Overdue

You know those books you’ve been meaning to read? Each week this podcast tackles one of those “TBR” books on your list with humor and wit. It’s a podcast that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still gives you a great insight into those books you’ve been meaning to read.

VS

In this bi-weekly podcast, one of my favorite poets, Danez Smith and Franny Choi “have conversations with the people who have chosen to stand between the world and its articulation into language.” They talk about and with poets who are changing the world of poetry, centering the discussion around the artists’ craft as well as the questions they seek to answer in their art.

Honorary Mention: Marlon & Jake Read Dead People

bookish podcasts

I give this podcast an honorary mention because it isn’t currently active, but it’s one I really love. Author Marlon James and Riverhead Books Executive Editor Jake Morrissey are so much fun to listen to as they discuss books by dead authors that they love, they hate and everything in between.
