5 Spring Home Updates I’m Craving

After a year of being stuck inside, I’ve grown tired of staring at everything inside my house all hours of the day. I’m majorly craving a spring refresh of my home. Nothing huge, just small updates that will give each space in my home a boost. Here are some of the things I have in mind.

Spring Home Updates

More is More

I love how this room is unashamed in its maximalism. There are a plethora of lights, plants, and things. So many popular interior design trends lean on simple and sparse, but for me, more is more.

Colorful Paint

I’m really craving color in my home. Maybe it’s due to being locked inside for a year. I want to find a way to bring spring indoors! I would love to paint a statement wall or my kids’ room. I adore how this room has an almost unfinished look to it.

Dramatic Curtains

I have the ugliest blinds in my home. I’m dreaming of changing them up for lovely, breezy or bold curtains. I think it’s lovely to juxtapose a neutral, simple room with bright curtains that you don’t expect.

A Stylish Vanity

When I do my makeup, I have to sit on the floor in front of our long mirror. I need a dedicated space for it. I would love a vanity like this one with a gorgeous lamp and a fabulous speaker to listen to music. Seems dreamy!

A Dramatic Bookcase

I don’t have a way of organizing my many stacks of books. I’m waiting for the perfect solution to show itself to me. I daydream of floor-to-ceiling bookcases like these, though. This would be my heaven!
