A Travel Guide To Atlanta

From savory meals to stunning florals and lots of activities to do in the sun, nothing beats a trip down to the South! Both Carly and Abby recently traveled to Atlanta, and today they are sharing their guide on where to find the most delicious Southern specialties and how to stay busy on your next vacation to The ATL.

  • Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit – You can’t be in the South and not enjoy a warm delicious biscuit! Whether it’s an afternoon snack or a morning breakfast sandwich, these savory and sweet biscuits are a must.
  • The General Muir – Whether you decide to pop in for bagels and coffee to go, or sit and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner, you’ll never be disappointed at The General Muir.
  • King of Pops – An Atlanta staple, these homemade popsicles come in a range of unique flavors like Herbs de Provence Lemonade and Mexican Chocolate, and are ideal to help you cool off on a hot Atlanta day.
  • Bartaco – With a few locations around Atlanta, you’re always guaranteed an amazing meal of fresh tacos, refreshing margaritas and a chic setting to enjoy with friends.
  • South City Kitchen – This restaurant is known for its sophisticated Southern cuisine. Our favorite item on the menu is the fried chicken!
  • West Egg Café – For a cozy and filling breakfast, head to West Egg Café for a stack of pancakes or biscuit breakfast sandwich.
  • Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream – With multiple locations across the city, this is our go-to when we have a sugar craving. Carly’s favorite? A cone with a scoop of Churro and Brambleberry Crisp ice cream!Where-To-Go_Atlanta
  • Ponce City Market – This giant new multi-use building is filled with shops, delicious food vendors and event spaces, making it a one-stop spot for fun.
  • The Atlanta BeltLine – Behind Ponce City Market, you can hop on this walking/bike trail that takes you from Midtown to Inman Park, making it a great way to see the city by foot.
  • Piedmont Park – For a relaxing afternoon, soak up the sun in this favorite local 189-acre park.
  • Westside Provisions – Located in Atlanta’s West Midtown neighborhood, this outdoor shopping center features a mix of local boutiques, retail favorites and award-winning restaurants.
  • Krog Street Market – This 1920’s warehouse has been converted into a food lover’s dream, filled with unique and delicious food stands, restaurants and retailers.
  • The Painted Pin – This upscale bowling alley boasts delicious food and a full bar. Plus, you can play an array of other games with your group while you wait to bowl—perfect for a rainy day!

  • Just got back from a road-trip to Orlando & St Augustine & was looking for a list like these for Orlando & St Augustine. Great list, I’ve bookmarked it for my trip to Atlanta in the future.
