An Ode To Croissants

If there was such a thing as a “desert island” food, mine would be croissants. Sure, I know they can’t sustain you on a desert island, but at least I’d die happy. I have a self-inflicted rule that I never turn down a croissant. They are so versatile! You can eat them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can have them sweet or savory. They’re a gift to the culinary world (thank you, Austria). So if you find yourself with a bag of croissants from your local farmers’ market, or maybe you’re in the mood to bake from scratch, these recipes are sure to delight.
