Each year, I find myself gravitating to a specific color. If you’ve been following me for a long time, you will remember my year, or more accurately, years of loving pink (didn’t we all?). Last year, it was yellow. With the challenges of 2020, I needed bright and cheery yellow to lift my mood. This year, it’s all about green. Green is definitely having a moment, and I’m sure that plays into my affinity, but it’s also my son’s favorite color and, therefore, is repeatedly brought to my attention. Green feels grounding; it connects us to the earth. To me, it feels like a renewal, like growth, and that’s exactly what I’m hoping for this year.
