8 Home Décor Trends That Are All Over Instagram

Instagram has quickly become a place for décor enthusiasts to find new and exciting pieces for their homes. It offers small brands the opportunity to reach a wider audience than pre-social media. Luckily for those of us who appreciate unique finds you won’t get at big-box stores, they’re more readily accessible. You’ve probably seen some of these trends when scrolling through your feed. Heck, you might even own some. Read on for the top home trends we’re seeing all over IG.

Every time someone posts these chairs on IG, there’s inevitably someone who comments “we had those chairs when I was growing up!” What goes around comes around and these vintage-style chairs have made a full comeback. If you can’t get your hands on vintage ones, there are a handful of brands offering similar styles.

Abstract Shape Art

2019 is definitely the year of abstract shapes. From design and branding to home décor, it’s one of the hottest trends on IG right now. I love that Instagram helps incredible artists like Upton and Blockshop Textiles share their gift with the world.

Gleaming Primrose Mirror

The Anthro mirror seen ’round the world.’ This mirror has been all over IG and stealing hearts with its antique style and gilded frame. It comes in three different sizes, so there’s an option for any space you’re trying to fill.

Tulip Tables

Another vintage find that has made a comeback is the white retro tulip table. Its versatile look makes it easy to style with almost any type of dining chair and gives your dining room a cool, modern look.

Mid-Century Lighting

One of the changes I’ve made around here recently was swapping out the pink curtains in the dining room for these sheer ones and I’m loving it! They were kind of stealing the mural’s thunder and I think it stands out a bit more now. What do you think? The blush ones are looking good chilling with the new green walls in my bedroom – a winning situation all the way around, if ya ask me! 😜⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And if you didn’t see my last post, I’m taking over the @liketoknow.it.home feed today, so come say hi! 👋🏻⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ All sources tagged! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ #smallspacesquad⁣⁣ #styleithappy⁣⁣ #betterhomesandgardens⁣⁣ #ggathome⁣⁣ #mybhg⁣⁣ #theeverygirlathome ⁣⁣ #cosyhome⁣⁣ #colourmyhome⁣⁣ #stellarspaces⁣⁣ #ruedaily⁣⁣ #walltowallstyle⁣⁣ #lovewhereyoudwell⁣⁣ #ambularinteriorsaintgotnothingonme⁣⁣ #easyinterieur⁣⁣ #dailydecordose⁣⁣ #lightandbright⁣⁣ #heyhomehey⁣⁣ #whimsicaldecor⁣⁣ #breinspired⁣⁣ #southernlivingmagazine⁣⁣ #ownyourdecor⁣⁣ #catchinglight⁣⁣ #modernvictorian⁣⁣⁣ #jungalowhome⁣⁣ #liketkit⁣⁣ #LTKhome⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Download the @liketoknow.it app to shop your screenshot of this pic! ⁣ ⁣ http://liketk.it/2zquy @liketoknow.it @liketoknow.it.home

This trend has been back for awhile now, but it’s hard to scroll through your feed without seeing a mid-century chandelier in your feed. They’re adorning the coolest dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms around.

Pom Pillows

These pillows from Australian brand Pampa were one of the first home décor items I saw on IG and immediately thought “I need to own that.” There are, of course, similar knock-offs, but the OG is still king of IG.

Ceramic Rainbows

Our friend ELOIEL has made quite the name for herself with her handcrafted ceramic rainbows. I own three, pretty sure Taylor owns even more. Each one is unique and beautiful. But you better be quick because they always sell out.

Big plans today. 👀

Linen bedding is all the rage, and for good reason. It’s so incredibly cozy and comfortable, and it has the most beautiful lived-in appearance. You’ve definitely seen this blush set from Parachute Home somewhere in your feed. And as someone who totally bought into it based off of seeing it on IG, I can tell you it is totally worth it.
